Thanks for visiting!
I am an ecologist and evolutionary biologist who is broadly interested in native bee behaviour and conservation. Sometimes this means watching bees in observation nests, sometimes it means using molecular markers to understand colony structure, and sometimes it means driving all over the to see what bee species we find in different landscapes.
I’m currently a postdoc in the lab of Dr. Paul Galpern at the University of Calgary where I’m studying the influence of landscape on bee community structure in agroecosystems. More information about my research interests can be found under the ‘Research’ tab.
